Are NBA player trading cards worth anything?

Sorry, man. Unless there are rare inserts in there, they are just about worthless and not worth your time to try to sell. Collectors arent interested in them and so many were made so supply greatly outnumbers demand which there is almost none. Now if you decide to look through them and pick out the cards that look different from all the other cards you may have a diamond in the rough but thats unlikely. If you find anything interesting looking, post back here what youve found and I will probably see it and respond to you. I collected basketball cards from '89 to '12.

Donate them and write off 5-cents (per card) as taxes. Unless they're rare inserts, they aren't worth anything and selling them is a waste of time. I wouldn't want them for free.

It costs about $10 to have a card graded (more or less depending on quantity of cards at a time and how many months/days you're willing to wait). The only cards worth getting graded are rare cards in perfect shape. BGS (Beckett Grading Services) is who you want grading them
