Does the belt that drives the power steering in a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe also drive the AC?

Update:

I had an accident a few years back and ever since there is a small leak in the AC lines that no one can find. I had the AC compressor replaced once and now it seems to have died again. Now the power steering belt just shredded and its barely a year old. I tried to refill the AC last week and the car would not take the coolant. I'm suspecting these are related.

Yes they are on the same belt. If it shredded, it's likely the new compressor seized up. You'll need a new compressor, O-tube, Accumulator, and complete flush-out of all the lines, and evaporator & condenser cores before assembly.

Looking under the hood would be the prudent thing to do.
