Whose a better overall shooter Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry?

Stephen curry. Currys probably the deadliest shooter in todays league. You cant leave him open and his shooting percentage proves that. In fact from the field curry shot better this season than KD (even from 3). From 3 Kd shot about 39 percent where as curry shot about 43 percent. Curry has shot off the dribble which i think he does better than KD. And keep in mind those handles create space for him and allow him to get those open shots. Overall shooter would surely be Stephen Curry.

Durant, while he is a great shooter, and an amazing shooter considering his size and position, is not one of the top few shooters in the league. Curry is the best, and I would put guys like Kyle Korver, and even though he sucks as an overall player, Jimmer Fredette, over Durant is we are talking purely about shooting.

if theyre open probably curry, but covered durant can get his shot off vs anybody cuz of his size

Curry's the better shooter, but Durant's the better scorer. Durant has a much higher success rate aroudn the basket and gets in the paint more often. Curry will hit open shots at a higher rate than Durant, which is good because he's very good at getting open. But Durant can hit shots with unreal efficiency even with the defense draped all over him.

Curry's a better shooter and passer. But Durant's better at just about everything else.
