Obama's supporters are making a lot of money shipping the oil by rail.

They do not want to lose a good deal, no matter how many people suffer.

There is no reason to impose financial sanctions in the first place against Russia. Russia helped the U.S. in many ways with its invasion and occupation in the Middle East. Without Russia the U.S. does not know how to handle its affairs.

Europe can use nuclear power instead of gas. Europe gets only 1/3 of its energy supplies from Russia. The U.S. plans to extract gas or oil in the Ukraine and sell to Europe to cut Russia off eventually.

Russia does not deserve punitive actions. What have they done to America?
