confusing signs from a girl you like?

There's this girl I like. Shes the type which you can say is the ms.popular type. Rich girl medical student and im this engineering guy (taking up a review for license) whose just an average guy. I met her about a month ago.then I started making an effort about a week ago in showing her about how I feel. ( but still not telling her directly that I like her) I still hope she can feel it in my efforts. Like the letter I left at her notebook or the snacks I left at her room. The thing is the nanny at the condominium keeps on telling me that shes so happy and smiles a lot when she tells her about the efforts im doing or when she talks about me . But the confusing part is she ignores me most of the time...( maybe shes really busy like she said she is) she asked me though if I wanted to be her patient for monday pre med uhmm shed like to clean my teeth (shes a dentist)
