Why is propaganda so much more successful when it stirs up hatred than when it tries to stir up friendly feelings?

I personally find people have a propensity to be negative. Propaganda just reinforces their negative viewpoint, confirms what they believe.

You could release statistics that immigration is a ridiculously low percentage and release a propaganda poster that immigrants are flooding the country. People will believe the poster because it most aligns with their views.

Sean I don't think it's propaganda, I think it's scientific fact. We are in a state of Entropy right now. The Universe is expanding and that causes Chaos and no one knows where it is going. The Collective Unconscious is a reflection of this Chaotic State therefore we naturally gravitate towards Fear and Hatred

Fear stupidly and hatred all come together hence so much more successful when it stirs up hatred as that doesn't take any brains.

There is someone behind all of our problems, and he has power that you and I do not processed. How Powerful Is Satan?

Satan has maligned Jehovah throughout history. (Proverbs 27:11) And he has influenced a large part of mankind. “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one,” states 1 John 5:19. That is why the Devil could tempt Jesus by offering him the authority and the glory of “all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth.” (Luke 4:5-7) Concerning Satan, the apostle Paul says: “If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.” (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4) Satan is “a liar and the father of the lie,” but he portrays himself as “an angel of light.” (John 8:44; 2 Corinthians 11:14) He has the power and the methods needed to blind the minds of the world’s rulers and their subjects. With propaganda and religious myths and lies, he has deceived mankind.

People by nature are evil. So it is much easier to stir up hate.

Nothing makes people feel better than looking down on someone else.
