What makes CoD Advanced Warfare different?

I saw all the previews and all, and honestly, i'm disappointed. Call of Duty used to be so much fun, but now it feels like even though I get the new one every year, i'm playing the same exact game and i'm fed up. So please try to explain why I should get Advanced Warfare because honestly it looks like the same dead horse that Activation has been beating for the past 3 years. Thank you.

I think it's the best one to date simply because there's almost no camping and quick scoping idiots.

You just now realized this. CoD games have been butt since after MW/MW2.

It takes place in the 2050s and it's too futuristic looking like halo I've been playing cod since cod 3! Wow I'm old but anyways your right it is the same every year but since a new one comes out every year I end up getting it anyway lol even when I don't like it anymore. Me personally I like more modern stuff or old like ww2 games

According to what I've seen, LAZERZ EXPLOSIONS GORE GUNS and one of the developers said some bs about different sounds on bullet impact xD.

No. if you have a console. buy the game used and give it back before the return period is active. If not, then that sucks. If you wanted to be convinced it wasn't the same, then you would already be.

Not much. It will still be predominately run and gun with players zipping around the maps like a bunch of coked up jackrabbits. Of course, those are my prey as I sit concealed with my Barrett. ;-)

I think the game could be made better if more true teams existed and treated the maps like an actual battlefield and used fire and maneuver tactics accordingly. Then again, the developers coddle the jackrabbit style of play, so that is likely how the game is meant to be played. They should drop any pretense of "teams".

Nothing that I've seen so far. Sure it'll benefit from the next-gen boost (PS3 & Xbox 360 versions are being handled by a different developer) but that's about it. Besides Call of Duty 2015 is coming out next year anyway. Some people just stayed with Black Ops II for multiplayer and I think they've got the right idea. Even Destiny also from Activision is at least an original game and not the 7th game in the series in as many years.
