Warum werden Getränke neben in Mehrwegflaschen und Einwegflaschen abgef?

Vorhin beim Einkaufen kam mir so ein Gedanken. Hab mir Coca Cola gekauft. Und irgendwie kam mir da die Frage auf, wieso Coca Cola einmal 0,5L in Mehrwergflaschen und dann neben den Mehrwegflaschen noch mal in 0,5L Einwegfalschen abfüllt. Hat das irgendeinen tieferen Sinn?

    Auf Colaflaschen ist immer Pfand.

    Cola in Einwegflaschen?? Gibts doch gar nicht.

    Entweder Mehrwegflsche oder PET.
