I'm downloading the beta on Xbox one and I'm gonna be a hunter. I herd tht they have lSnipers for primary but Can they have Assault Riffles to?

Hey there, Like yourself I also chose Hunter and I pondered the same questions you have been but I just picked the class anyway. After playing the Hunter class, you will realize that the Destiny is not similar to a FPS in terms of weapon kits. What I mean is that you will get 3 weapon slots where the first one is your primary, second is Special, and third is heavy (heavy weapon). As far as I am aware all snipers belong to the special slot meaning they are secondary and all assault weapons belong to the first weapons slot making them primary weapons. Third weapon slot is for heavy machine guns and rocket launchers. Hope this helped.
