From where did all the water on the surface of the earth come?

    Originally, a lot came from the oxidation of hydrogen gas. On Earth, much of the water came from volcanic outgassing. There may be a significant component added by objects from the outer solar system (comets, etc).

    Probably, much of the water was originally locked up in hydrous minerals, released during metamorphism, and transported to the surface through magmatism.

    During earth building up the core ,which surface it get cooler Ice asteroid impact to the earth which it cause steam rise and appear as primary atmosphere lay around the earth and cool the temperature of the surface.

    Electromagnetic charge of the iron core start to charge the clouds and rain began ,during million years of rapid of this fenumun ,water been collected in deep sections of the earth and it cool the surface more and more till point that at poles ice ocean get shape .
