I have a Monson Maine slant front slate sink circa 1850.?

The surface needs serious cleaning. Does anyone have any restoration advice and have any idea on potential value?

You can use sandpaper and an electric sander to make it look newer. Then use mineral oil on the surface a few times. It will soak in and look awesome. If you have the original metal legs that gives it more value. I've seen them sell for $500 to $1,200 in salvage stores. You're lucky you have one, take care of it.
