How does Texas treat homosexuals?

Its not too bad. As mentioned Austin is liberal, Dallas, Houston, but I'm in a small town not far from those cities it ain't bad

Depends on which part. In my home town, we really didn't care that much, but there was some discrimination. In Austin, especially in the city, are more open minded.

I live in a small city in Texas... VERY SMALL. And we make fun of homosexuals a lot. My friend who is married to another women says she is moving because of it. We have a few popular gays at our school but it is only because girls think "OMG he is sooo hot and he can be like a hot gay friend like in them movies,"

I am lesbian and I once got falsely accused of groping a girl once I told someone I was gay :/

Well I knew this girl in Texas that was such a lesbian, and very open about it, so I guess they don't care

In the bigger cities it's okay, in the country side you might end up shot or find yourself dancing at the end of a rope.
