I have a resident malware. It is "Exevalidator." I can't find it anywhere to delete it. Anybody have any ideas??

go to Majorgeeks.com, a wonderful site for many kinds of FREE programs, almost anything you'd ever need.

Download Norman malware cleaner for FREE. It'll take a bit to download, just SAVE it to your comptuer, or downloads file, and then run it from there.

When you start it, click to run scan on COMPLETE, not just quick. The complete setting searches all over. With click of one button, Norman will search, find, and clean anything it finds. And will give you a report about what it found.

Takes a little bit of time to run, but you'd be surprised what it can find. I have used Norman cleaner for over 10 years, and it's my last line of defense, if Norman can't find it, it's not in my computer!!

Norman isn't an everyday cleaner, it's more aggressive, but I've never had it take out something it shouldn't. YOu still need to use your daily antispyware cleaner.

    But it's pretty good.

Another suggestion, try googling this problem. Just type in "get rid of exevalidator" and see what comes up. Others might have had same problem, but I'm sure that Norman Malware Cleaner can fix it.

David E. seems to have the right track. But the response got truncated after "...\Goog..." I got close, but couldn't find the last link.
