I would say Eugenie as a middle name! Personally I'm not really too keen on the name Eugenie (without knowing its significant to you), just because all I hear is the boys name Eugene. Although its clearly feminine, it lacks a certain "girly" quality so to speak. However, honoring your dad is very kind and meaningful, so I would definitely incorporate it by using it as the middle name!
