Hi I was talking to a Girl on Facebook. She is 17 I am 16 today. We talked a lot. But a week ago. We were sexting :( I posted a picture of my penis. My foster mum had a look at my phone. She saw the picture and there is going to be a meeting with my social worker. I'm worried sick will I go jail. Or worse be registered as a pedofile I am not a pedo all I did was sext she was 17 so it's not like I'm doing it to a younger girl. Please help me.. I made a big mistake..

You are from the UK? The age of consent in the UK is 16. So if this happened when you were 15; the 17 year old girl is at fault, not you. You won't be registered as a sex offender, and you will not get any sort of criminal record. Your social worker and foster mum are probably just worried about your safety, not trying to imprison you! Don't stress too much!

Actually, your phone has no pictures on it. It only has ones and zeros (binary data). If anyone should get in trouble, it's the person who installed the program that turns the binary information into pornography.

It is very unlikely you would go to jail.You still shouldn't send sexual pictures on the net. It's just asking for someone to exploit it,and your future employers might get to see it.

nothing is going to happen your 16 just tell them you agree it was silly thing to do but its a private matter end of, you have broken no laws
