ebay tracking ip addresses now?
Recently noticed I'm getting a lot of emails from them with the subject "Still looking for blahblahblah?" or "DISCOUNTED: blahblahblah" The desktop computer I use NEVER remains logged into ebay while doing searches. Some of the searches are done on a notebook that has never been used to log in to ebay and yet I still emails from them.
It would seem like they are tracking my IP so that they can see what's being searched regardless if I'm logged in or not or even on another computer. This needs to stop.

All major sites track you. Through cookies, ips, etc. Google, Yahoo, Bing, eBay, Craigslist, Amazon......... It's why Homeland Security demands all their records. And they give them what they want.
