Is AVG the Anti Christ of software?

Question

I installed AVG 2012 about 2 years ago after Norton failed miserable at virus protection.

My Latop often bacame manick, whith high cpu , memaory and disk usgae will AVG apparnetly did nothing.

Recently I installed AVG Zen on my laptop and android devices.

Zen destroyed my android battery life, so I decided no unistall it.

On my lpatop I could not unistall AVG Zen , unitl I had unistalled AVG ( now 2104 ).

My laptop is now free from any AVG products, but seemd calm and relaxed about it

I need a spell checker

I switched to Avast! after AVG started to power down my hard drive half way through boot up ..

NO software can damage battery life. ALL mys customers use either the free or paid version of AVG for ALL their devices and we never have any problems with it at all. And there are hundreds of machines oin some of those companies. Just because you are totally incapable of using it does not make it wrong. That is like saying that all computers are bad because you can not use one.

It is up to you to manage and schedule scans.  It is also up to you to avoid known bad sites and to heed warnings posted by your virus protection programs.  I have used Norton and AVG and the only problems I had were caused by me not understanding the products.   If you allow an update or scan to run while gaming, you are headed for trouble.
