What's the most annoying thing a homophobe has ever said to you (give reason if you can)?

Mine would be the "it's a choice" (makes my blood boil). The reason I find it so annoying is because:

1) they believe a god exists without any proof but can't believe every last LGBT person screaming ITS NOT A CHOICE!

2)how the hell would they know? When did they get to choose because I most certainly didn't get this opportunity

Update:

Also!

3) their is scientific studies that show it isn't a choice

The ones I find most annoying are the ones who are trying to pretend they're not homophobic. But seriously, you can't let the buggers annoy you too much. It's just not worth the effort.

The worst things i've encountered are

    A) Gay men are 10x more likely to molest children

    B) 2 men or 2 women are incapable of loving one another the way a man and a woman do. It is pure lust and not love.

    Gets right on my nerves!

    Probably:

-"You're transphobic and shallow for not being open to dating someone with a vagina"

I've been dealing with the choice argument for a few years. I figure I'll be dealing with it for several more years, provided blood pressure and forgetting my medication doesn't get me first.

I think the worst, thus far, was a woman who said "I think those gay people are just sick." It was rather comical because she said it in front of a very openly gay college student. His reaction, and lecture, wasn't all that polite. I was wondering if I should call police or sell tickets. We never saw the woman again.

I think the reason the woman felt that way was due to the fact that the company we worked for was directly across the road from a Methodist University, and potentially the largest Methodist church in the state, presumably, she was a regular attendee. After my coworker dressed her down for the statement, we never saw her in that shop again.

If you scroll through the myriad of questions on this section, you'll find that many people equate being gay with pedophilia, bestiality, and the odd nutter that wants to marry a structure. All of which I find offensive and blame on classical conditioning.

If you look back through history, long before most of our current religions took over, what you see is Classical Conditioning. The first religious organizations were taught to revere fertility, and people don't understand people that won't produce children. It's why we're fascinated by large breasts, or big male parts, as they symbolize fertility. Hooters doesn't hire waitresses based on intelligence, and the food certainly isn't worth going for.

I hate to keep blaming religion, but I can't. Every angle I look at it, even if the person isn't religious, it still comes back to that in some fashion or another.

I can help you become straight through prayer. The most annoying thing is they assumed I wanted to be straight
