Whats wrong with my mom?
So yesterday she's in a good mood and tells me that she's going to buy me an xbox one today. But when i go to remind her this morning she tells me that i made that up lol. Anyway i give her sh1t for about an hour an she finally says extremely mad "you know what, i had the money all along i just wanted to hear you go on and on about it. im sick of you blah blah blah..." So now she's on her way to the store and im just sitting here thinking how can you promise something one day and completely deny it the next.
Btw this happens EVERY time i ask her to buy me something. We always end up fighting for an hour and in the end she always ends up buying it really angry. I only ask her to buy me video games at around christmas time and for the rest of the year i don't bother her at all, yet her greed is so big that she refuses to acknowledge that.
What is wrong with this woman?

If you don't want to depend on her moods get a part time job or do things like mow lawns and or shovel snow, maybe babysit and buy the things you want for yourself and let her give you whatever presents she wants. Her moods swings might be a symptom of something like bipolar or she might just be quirky but it is not your job to diagnose her over such a petty and selfish thing as spending her money. Get your own and spend it on whatever you want and leave her alone about money.
