Is an American company allowed to penalize employees for not using contraception?
Update:
My company provides insurance its 4,000 employees. At a meeting this week they brought up that 2015's plan will have incentives for our "Wellness Program". If you walk so many miles a month, you'll get a $25 credit; if you don't smoke you get a $50 credit, etc. In that list was "Surgical sterilization (female employees 22 to 48 years old)" for a $25 credit. Is this a legal incentive?
