What do atheist do for Christmas?

I play football with the Jews, then yes, I swallow my pride and go to my girlfriends house for a few hours, then I hang out with my Cambodian friends for the rest of the night. It's my December 25th tradition.

For the pagan festival I cook a nice dinner for all my loved ones, we exchange gifts and enjoy each other's company. We don't need gods - not even pagan gods.

To the asker - stop leaching off pagans you hipocryte.

In Sweden we eat the traditional ham (good old julablot lives again) and drink glögg (alcohol) and hand out christmas presents. Btw we call it Jul here. No connection with christ... at all!

Seriously do we have to explain AGAIN how Christmas doesn't belong to Christians and it never did..... Christmas is a PAGAN ritual. Christ wasn't even born in December..... the best the can figure is that he was born in September.

I think it's about time you ought to know that Christmas was a 4th century rip-off of older pagan festivals, such as Saturnalia, Sol Invictus, Yule Tide among others. December 25th was the birthday of the god Mithras.

Oh, that's a social tradition that has nothing to do with Jesus? Imagine that.

Probably get together with relatives and enjoy each other's company. And that's what atheists do on a holiday. Without Jesus being the center of the holiday. And probably get drunk and get hot & heavy.

I'm an athiest and I do what everyone else does for christmas exept worship jesus. I spend time with friends and family and open presents and all those stuff but I just don't celebrate jesus because i dont think hes real.

Christmas celebrations are social events constructed by man, with no holy guidance. The fact that there's no god proves it. We all who celebrate it maintain ancient pagan rituals and traditions.

I buy gifts for the people who are important to me. I go to parties. I string up lights at my house. I do all the stuff for the holiday except the religious parts.
