do I need nvidia if I don't do any gaming?
I never use my computer for gaming and wonder if all the request to update NVIDIA Drivers on my pc are necessary. I'm not sure if it came with my PC or I inadvertantly downloaded NVIDIA but I keep getting prompts to update the drivers.
Would like to remove program if I don't need it.
Please advise...

It is not mandatory to update your NVIDIA driver right away but it is good to stay updated. And if you have a NVIDIA graphics card installed in your pc you will need this driver you can't uninstall it.

Whatever it is on your computer that is made by NVIDIA does not mean it is there for gaming. It just means the NVIDIA device needs a driver update. In general it is a good idea to keep your drivers updated to help keep your system stable and running well. Some people ignore all driver updates. But I keep my users' systems updated so I always encourage others to follow the same guidelines.

Thank you both for your quick responses. I did notice that I have a NVIDIA graphics card on my pc and I think I did try to uninstall this software at one time. I've updated the drivers but my pc is unstable since I have Vista...UGH!
