Salam No wearing Chador for Muslim women is not mandatory but only wearing Hijab for covering all of woman;s privy parts is obligatory. based on the Qur'an 24:31 and 33:59

It is not obligatory even in Iran. But some religious women choose it because they believe it is like the Hijab of Fatima daughter of prophet of Islam pbuh.

Nope. "Chador" is specifically an Iranian thing. All Islam requires (for both women AND men, but guess who chooses?) is that people dress modestly, which could mean different things at different times and places. (The whole "women wearing a black tent in 50C weather" isn't religious, it's a sadistic custom of certain countries, that is explained away as being "religious".)

I don't think it is lol as long as you are wearing a Hijab then you're doing nothing wrong.
