I do get paid minimum wage and I do work 25 hours a week. My paycheck usually comes up to about $407.50, including what the government takes from me. (Although I actually do get paid above the absolute lowest minimum wage in my state, which is $7.25)

If you're in the UK and over 21, the minimum wage is £6.31. This would be £315.50 gross before deductions for tax, national insurance and any other deductions you may have (pension etc). The rate is a bit lower for ages 18-20 (£5.03) and under 18 (£3.72). Minimum wage increases I believe happen in October.

I was about to say that this question was foolish, but then recollected the motivational words of the almighty Bruce Lee: An intelligent person is able to learn more from a silly question than a stupid man fool may learn from a well informed answer.

Well, you might want to specify the amount of your minimum wage. Where I live it's $10.25.

    $175 per week.

    $7.00 x 25 = $175

    $175 x 4 (Weeks in a month) = $700 per month

    $700 x 12 (Months in year) = $8,400
