How do I convince my friend that?

I've been telling him he is worth it to me but he keeps thinking I am wasting my time helping him. I don't think that. I find it worth it to be his friend. He says he feels guilty for not being there for me as much too. He have been there for me. I really like it when he is in my presence. It's been continuing on for 2 months already. He said he was bothering me so he will leave me alone but he isn't bothering me. Anything he says to me, I will do my best to help him.

1. How do I make my friend think he is worth my time and services?

2. Everytime I text him, days later, he says he is sorry for not responding fast enough. How do I make him not sorry everytime I communicate with him?

3. What is the best way to deal with this situation??? I am starting to think negatively about him, thinking I am wasting my time.... I keep telling him that he is worth it but he doesn't believe me.....

Update:

everytime I try to help him, he always take it the wrong way and think I am making fun of him and will not be his friend....

He is essentially pushing you away by telling you that he does not want your help in his life. Most guys do not want a female always trying to guide them into the next personal decision. It is irritating. Leave him alone and stop falling into this trap of his to make you feel guilty and then getting upset with you when you do. Leave him alone.

Perhaps don't be so direct with the fact that your helping him, he probably feels like a slight charity case, just be friendly if he dismisses you, then leave him to it. you cant help someone that doesn't want to be helped

You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped..just be there for your friend and you won't have to do any convincing cause your actions will say it all

Sounds like emotional things like he's sad and is keeping his self there

Make him a little jealous. Eventually he'll want you and be sorry.

Just keep trying. And maybe trt and get your friends and his friends to help with the convincing. If he hears it from more people maybe that will help

Just talk to him, tell him what you really feel.
