Why does my E bike throttle up and then immediately cut out?

There are several possibilities but two of the biggest are the motor cuts out due to excess voltage that it can't handle and or the throttle has no contact between the points of full throttle so there is no circuit to pass energy and electricity will not run unless in a full circuit.

It would have helped if you said what kind of electric bike you have. You could be having a problem in the controller. You can go to motorbicycling.com and motoredbikes.com for help. Just be sure to give better information.
