Please make sure you're comfortable with riding your board at high speeds. And please don't try ollieing if this is your 1st or 2nd day.
1) Pop; Push your tail down on the ground, you will hear a pop sound.
2) Jump; Most important step to this! Make sure you jump up and suck your knees into your chest! Doing this will give your tail much more room to go up.
3) Slide / Push; To get extra height, level out your board by pushing your front foot sideways!
Tips;
Commit, commit, commit!
Don't turn your shoulders, keep them straight!
Make sure your comfortable with your board!
Do this on concrete!
Don't get frustrated, after all, it's just when your board goes up. :)

Make sure you jump high with both feet, don't try to put too much pressure on your drag just enough to lift and level the board, don't drag horizontal make sure you drag parallel to the board just keeping your foot on it. As for your pop, just put as much effort into it as you can, if it's still not enough, build up your leg muscles and just practice. It could be timing as well which comes with practice and watching videos and slow mos. Don't try kickflips or heelflips until you can ollie higher than the width of your board and if you want to get your ollies down well don't waste time on shuv its and pop shuv its. Definitely don't give up and it really is all about practice
