Counterfeit money marker?

Will any black marker work to detect a counterfeit bill ? such as a sharpie , crayola. or does it have to be an actual counterfeit bill marker such as the ones the bank use

    Special markers. I used to work at Heathrow Airport and handled counterfeit notes every day. They are easily detectable just by the feel. You don't need markers.

    Some counterfeiters have surpass the detection of money markers. I have seen registers use built in lights to detect if the currency is fake or not.

    Special marker. Even if the counterfit is good...the bank teller will accept it if it passes her marker test....that's all that matters.

    Nope. Markers can be fooled, in any case.
