Can someone explain how the Murder of 1900 Palestinians is called "self-defense" while 64 invading IDF soldiers killed is called"Terrorism"?

I am also outraged at the disparity. Netanyahu is the problem, as now confirmed (albeit subtly) by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, current Secretary of State John Kerry, and our own President Obama. The U.S. has treaties with Israel that tie our hands, but the outrageous genocide committed by bigot bully Netanyahu rises to the level of war crimes---and even the UN Human Rights director now agrees.

Why has the international community, including the United States, allowed or tolerated the Netanyahu-ordered BLOCKADE of Gaza for the past seven years?! Egypt's new leader has actually helped with this illegal blockade, and yet the media has not explored why this would occur. What "backroom deal" was struck between Netanyahu and the fairly new leader of Egypt that would have a Muslim nation aiding and abetting the crimes against humanity being committed by Israeli's leader? The answer to your question might be found if one explores the complicity of the world media.

I hope that the people confined in the largest concentration camp in the world, the Palestinians, begin to do battle with CAMERAS...lots and lots of CAMERAS. The Obama administration gave Israel the Iron Dome, which limited any damages inside Israel to only three deaths over the past month. No defense group or "enemy combatants" defending the Palestinians imprisoned in Gaza (including the militant Hamas) can win in a fight with Israel by using weapons and the more than 1900 slaughtered civilians should drive that message home loud and clear. But if the defenders of the Palestinians begin to show the entire world the barbarism, the genocide, the inhumane conditions caused by the ILLEGAL blockade, the hardships, pictures of little babies with parts of their heads blown away, grieving family members mourning the loss of their loved ones...these pictures are the absolute BEST WEAPON to bring world attention to the plight of the Palestinian people and to show the TERRORISM of Netanyahu's Israel.

It could be done easily if speaking to a rational person. Anybody who thinks Hamas is in the morally superior position is lacking in the critical thinking skills to hear a cogent answer, though, so it may be a waste to try.

Self defense and terrorism are about intent. Casualty counts are a single number about results. Those are entirely different things.

The intent of the people of Gaza is to kill Israeli citizens. That they aren't very good at it is a nice thing, both for Israel and for humanity in general. They've used materiel supplied in part by Israel, things meant to build schools, hospitals, and mosques, to build tunnels and rockets in the hopes of killing Israelis.

The Israelis shoot at rocket launchers and such. It's unfortunate that lots of Palestinians and their schools, hospitals, and mosques are in those spots, but Israel isn't the side that co-located those things. That's tough. Maybe the next time they elect leadership (with, I might point out, Israeli support for the previous free elections) they'll elect leadership that won't allow a terrorist organization (that actually prefers to make its own citizens into cannon fodder) to run the place.

It's called terrorism because they set up missiles in schools, lob a few into Israel without declaring war, and then move the missile so that when the launch site is targeted, Hamas makes sure that Israel kills a bunch of kids. This is for PR, of course, because it paints the Israelis in a really bad light, even though they didn't know. Well, they know now, but what should they do? Just let missiles rain down on them? The true villains here are Hamas, for intentionally letting children and innocents get killed. It's what they want. They have no humanity in them at all.

Read the "Covenant" of Hamas, their stated intention and reason for existence is to KILL JEWS> explicitly stated more than once in the document.

No Palestinians would be killed, (murder has a very specific definition), by Israel if the rockets stopped.

Heck I am no particular fan of Israel , nor is Turkey or the Saudi's and we can all see this. HAMAS is not particularly popular with Arabs. What does that tell you? (or what should it tell you).

I don't believe in labels like terrorists. I ask myself, if there were only two countries left after a nuclear holocaust - Israel and some Muslim country - I would apply to Israel. You would too if you had a daughter.

You sound odd. I compare the figure with the same aplomb I compare WW2 figures. Germany lost 9 million. USA lost 420,000. ZDo I cry for the 3rd Reich? Do I complain about US excessive force? No.

Nor do I whine, as you do, about Hamas purposely placed in harms way dead. Because it is not murder.

If you are 12 years old or older you already know why it is self-defense and not murder.

The IDF is extremely proactive that save lives. If HAMAS wouldn't use women and children as human shields that number you mentioned would be a lot lower.

Hamas killed 1900 Palestinians...Why do they keep putting Palestinians in front of their rockets...
