I buy coffee in the whole bean, but I am done paying for the Starbucks brand. What other whole bean coffee brand do you recommend?

Update:

I have a great coffee maker at home that takes whole coffee beans, grinds them right there so they're freshly ground, and turns out the greatest coffee so long as I'm using good coffee beans. I dont want to pay for Starbucks coffee anymore and paying $2 every morning for my cup of coffee at the local donut shop is not something I want to do every morning. What kind of coffee would you recommend?

You can usually find some good locally-roasted/blended beans at your local farmer's market. I live in Nova Scotia and I get them from The Laughing Whale Coffee Company. They usually aren't as cheap as the ones you get from the grocery store, though, so if cost is an issue you'll probably want to buy something else.
