What charity should I leave my estate to? .?
The charity now named in my will is looking like a business disaster. They want to save the world. I don't believe they're ever going to get realistic.

UNICEF is about as as basic good gets. You can read more here about how little it takes to give a child a chance to be healthy.

I also agree that Planned Parenthood is also an excellent choice. They're there to help in a lot of situations that require privacy, and have fought hard to reserve the rights of women. They are also there to give birth control to kids who aren't going to ask their parents,or people who cannot afford it. They're in the trenches every day, too.

Mine. I was forced to retire disabled at 50 years old due to a lady not watching where she was driving, who had only the minimum insurance. After the settlement, all the money went to doctors and lawyers. I had to get two knee replacements, but only had $20K left over from the settlement. Otherwise, I'd never walk again. So, I went to India to get $7K knees. I can walk now, but slowly and with lots of pain. My back was destroyed, too. My promising career was ended far too short, and not by any fault of mine. Now, I sit in my home watching TV wondering how long it will take for them to take my house away from me. Yes, I am a charity case in itself. My only hopeful future is to be homeless in an area where it doesn't get too cold.
