Is $25 cash and a card an acceptable graduation present?

I have a friend (well, more of an an acquaintance, really) who invited me to her graduation party. I'm an 18 year old working under the table and getting paid less than minimum wage. I also have have a lot of payments I need to make soon, so money's especially tight right now. Is $25 cash and a nice card acceptable, or should I give more?

What would you recommend?

You don't have to bring a gift to a graduation party of an acquaintance, just a nice card. Anything more than that is just a optional nice gesture.

That's a nice gift. And under the circumstances it's more then enough. :-)

If it is an acquaintance then a card with a nice note would be just fine.

you should not feel obligated to buy them anything. Especially as an acquaintance, but even as a friend.

Again, you do not have to buy anything, even a card. A card would be nice; not necessary, but nice,,,,,,,, but not cash.
