What can I do besides using pandora radio, watching youtube videos and going on yahoo answers with a smartphone?

    You can install apps and games from the app store. I recommend trying famous games first, like Temple Run, Angry Birds, Piano Tiles, Candy Crush, etc. You can find great games other than those too- Duet is a great game, and it was just released on Android.

    You could do many other things with a smartphone- calling, texting, using the GPS, etc.

    I love my smartphone for a variety of reasons -

    1.) Easily get directions to businesses/locations.

    2.) Easily get phone numbers of any business/restaurant/location via online.

    3.) Smartphones are known to have much higher quality cameras than "non" smartphones.

    4.) Check Facebook

    5.) Tons of apps to download - games, personal finance, radio, utilities (too many to name).

    6.) Some smartphones can act as a digital wallet - allowing you to wirelessly pay for items (I've done this before at McDonalds).

    You can play games, connect to BlueTooth devices to push audio data, use various apps, use GPS, run emulators of old computers and game systems, call, text, and other things.
