Also follow up question to the router question, how often does one need to change their password on their router?

    As long as you set a decent non-default password on the router there should be no reason to change it unless somebody sees it that you do not want to log into the router.

    That's kind of like asking how strong a lock you need to put on your door. Answer: Just strong enough to make the thief give up and go break in to your neighbor's house. Same with a router password. Since most router's have the default login of admin/admin or admin/password, just changing that to something less obvious will send a potential hacker looking for an easier target.

    Depends on yourself. I haven't change mine since the cable man config it for me.
