What's up with Yahoo! Answers deleting valid questions?

Does YA persecute people? Or is it possible that one person is harassing another?

Sometimes a question can be valid, but still somewhat violates the yahoo guidelines. But some users wil report questions out of hate, revenge or even a bit of jealousy. Also depending on the question, some users hate the truth. And Some users will report questions just for the heck of it.

Some people report simply because they can, others are very easily offended by things which would not offend someone else.. Whatever caused a question or answer to be deleted here it will make no difference if the asker or answerer challenges the deletion because Yahoo no longer respond the challenges it seems.

It is not Yahoo but the users here that report.

They may report true violations and they may target and falsely

report due to jealousy or disagreeing with an answer.

One user I doubt does this.It is close knit groups.

The computer can not tell a real violation from a false report.

Had you told us the content of your Q we could tell you why.No-one is harassing you,you were reported by one or more trusted members who actually understand the rules. You can appeal of course.
