I use the 3. The big difference is the add on's I never use. Remote control(don't use it), wifi(don't use it), links up to iphone(don't use it). Only thing I bought that I do use is the bigger SIM card, and larger batteries. Have two of those. I can go thru 4 battery charges before I use half the SIM card. Actually my wife bought it for me, I just bought the extra stuff. If she ever asks. I use all of that stuff and can't live without it. ;-)
