How does this drawing look? and color pencil techniques?

So I've been doing graffiti style art for awhile like a year...but I haven't had any guidance just a you tube video and images I've seen online. I want to know if this looks good, what I could change, what I've done right, and any tips on coloring with colored pencils such as good combanations of color or how to use them for awesome effects. Also I'm looking to upgrade my colored pencils. This was made with artist loft but I do like to use Staedtler, I think thats the brand. I want something in between these two that is less likely to break the led inside if dropped, since I have evil cats who push things around...and I'm clumsy, but has a good quality blend and feel with out costing the 50$ the Staedtler cost. Thanks! Also I only do this on my paper and my scrap wood or cardboard. No trains or destruction but I'd love to paint somewhere like the Venice Beach graffiti walls :D. Sorry for the essay haha.

i like this, it's an interesting slant on graffiti, keeping it clean with paper and pencil but still using the hectic and loud flashes of pattern and colour. I think you could stand to be brighter, i have seen some real neon like colours in graffiti.as for pencils, i don't know where abouts you are in the world, but find a local independant art shop near to where you live. my local shop has a couple of ranges of pencils that you buy singly. my mum bought me my choice of 30 as a birthday present a few years ago, and from that collection i've added odd different shades or replaced the ones i use the most. they are about £1 each, but you could just buy yourself 2 or 3 each week - you'll soon build up a nice collection :) my favourite pencils are made by Faber-Castell, the polychromos range. you can colour lightly with them for a watercolour-style effect, or press harder for an almost printed block of colour. that said, you will know which you feel comfortable with - take a small piece of your favourite paper when you find that little art shop, and test out the pencils, make lines, colour patches in, get the feel of them - you'll know which ones you like :) have fun and keep drawing - your work is fresh and promising

If you want to learn how to pull reasonable hair such as for instance a master you then have the perfect instructor here https://tr.im/NzVGe , Practical Pad Symbol Mastery.

With Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery you will find probably the most effective method of draw hair and technique to incorporate reliability to hair drawing.

You might be thinking what type of pulling supplies you will require in order to begin pulling along with this Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery course. Unlike different drawing eBook s and classes that you may have obtained in the past, that recommend you get tons of expensive drawing supplies to get going, Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery is different. To get started pulling images in pencil just like a master, you only require 2H, 2B, and 5B timber cased pens and an eraser. Different items you will be needing you probably have putting throughout the house like q-tips and tissues.

Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery is an easy but successful guide.

One technique that I have used to good effect when drawing animals is to lightly score the paper with a metal pointed tool - do this carefully and don`t scratch the surfaceof the paper; this can be done at the outset or at any time whilst working on the picture - the indents will show a different colour to the surface work. Good luck - Anne

I personally dont know anything about grafiti, but its pretty cool. I would suggest you make the pink and the orange merge into eachother, there is a really defined line between them. Thats just my opinion your style may be different.

    good job! have fun!
