Are there any conservatives who aren't sadists?

It does seem to be a shared trait doesn't it? Conservatism as an ideology, even though it is one with which I disagree, has some good points. Limiting government intrusion in our lives should be a constant theme for both parties for example. The problem is the obvious, odious, and very loud hypocrisy of it's advocates.

There probably are I'm sure but it's the psychopathic nutjobs who get all the press like Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, all of Fox News, etc etc

Every conservative I've met in person or online has delighted in seeing others suffer. But is it my bad luck to never meet the "good" conservatives, or are you all really like that?

The fact that you believe people who disagree with you like to cause people pain makes you a bigot. I do care when I see someone having trouble, I believe it is up to me to help. Not a government burecrat.

Most I know are neither sadists or want to see bad things happen to anyone. However they do want

people to take responsibility for their actions and not blame everyone else for what they did.
