does battery acid cause cancer?
does dry battery acid from like double aa batteries cause cancer? i have ocd with batteries for some reason and i came across a wii remote with leaked batteries. my dad told me that battery acid causes cancer but i can't really find any articles online that says that battery acid causes cancer. can anyone enlighten me and help alleviate my worries? thanks.

If you just touched it, you're fine. If you put it in your mouth once, you're fine. If you put it in your mouth every day for 2 or 3 years, maybe :D it's the frequent exposure to cancerigen that causes cancer; There's nothing that can give you cancer from only one exposure besides high radiation, and battery liquid is not radioactive :)
