Yes, many people have received their renters property tax refund in Aug. There have been questions on yahoo stating their friends or family all received their refund this month; but " I haven't received mine yet & when will I get it"

Did you file your form on time? If not, expect to wait ....

Renter, mobile home owner or home owner?

Did you mail the form or file electronically? Did you ask for a direct deposit? Did you file a M1PR last year? Did you attach all the required info; if not, that will hold up your refund?

As you know, there is more than one type of property tax refund for owners - the regular & special one & if you own your home, the checks won't be sent till Sept.

If you are inquiring in regards to renters property tax refund or you are a mobile homeowner -- as I said, many have.

"When will I get my Homestead Credit Refund (for Homeowners) or Renter's Property Tax Refund ?

If you’re a renter and you file Form M1PR by June 15, we’ll issue your refund by Aug. 15. If you’re a homeowner and file by Aug. 1, we’ll issue your refund by Sept. 30.

Note: If you file after June 15 (for renters) or Aug. 15 (for homeowners), it takes 60 days to process your return."

    "When to expect your refund

Refunds for homeowners will be mailed beginning the end of September or 60 days after filing, whichever is later.

You may receive your refund up to 30 days earlier than the dates listed above if you:

Electronically file Form M1PR by either May 15 (for renters or mobile homeowners) or July 1 (for homeowners)

Choose the Direct Deposit option for getting your refund on Form M1PR

You filed Form M1PR last year.

If you’re a renter or mobile homeowner, you must have a Certificate of Rent Paid (CRP) from your landlord. If you requested a Rent Paid Affidavit (RPA) you must file your return by paper."

If you didn't send it in by the due date or didn't attach the required info - you'll be waiting another 30 days or so.

Just be patient ... it's coming...........
