Plowing with a 2013 Chevy Z71?
Looking at a 2013 Chevy Silverado 4x4 quad cab z71 wanting to know if anyone has experience on snow plowing with this model of truck and what kind of plow to use if its safe. Just driveways not parking lots. Has ENGINE, VORTEC 5.3L VARIABLE VALVE TIMING V8 SFI FLEXFUEL WITH ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT

You'll be fine with that rig. Although, unless you are really good at plowing, you might wanna be dressed to constantly get out and shovel. As for plows, I use a Western 7'-6" MIDWEIGHT with a joystick. I bought it 2 years ago brand new from a guy for $2,200. Obviously my Duramax has no problems with power, but with combined experience and this plow, I rarely have to get out to shovel. Western by opinion is the best snow plow company.

Using that for driveway would be a hassle. I'd use a fourwheeler with a plow or a snowblower. That would be what you used on streets, alleys, parking lots, etc. The truck would be good for plowing though if 4-wheel drive!

Not sure you want to use that to plow driveways. Sort of a pain to be honest. Better to get a small bobcat if your only using it for drvieways
