If your child had a French accent, could you still love them or would you give them up for adoption?

My child probably will have a french accent. I am English and my boyfriend is french.

I will love him no matter what.

I am afraid I would need to put them up for adoption before they start wearing striped shirts and eating baguettes and drink absinthe and can tell the difference between kinds of mustard and soft cheese, and show The Red Balloon continuously.

Adoption.

My child is my child. He always will be, and I will always love him. I might not approve of everything he does (although an accent wouldn't exactly trouble me LOL), but there's nothing bad enough that would cause me not to love him.

but i'm not french or from... so, that's impossible. even if they lived in france for years.

I could understand an eastern european accent, or irish....but myself or my fiance are not french.
