I am stationed in Germany would it be possible to buy a car from the states and have it shipped to here with no problems on the armys dime?

If you are already in Germany, then the answer is you missed your chance. The option to ship a vehicle to Germany was part of your PCS orders, so by now, that option has come and gone. You had to have dropped your vehicle off at a drop off location prior to you reporting in. And since you didn't ship a vehicle there, you will not have the option to ship a vehicle home if you were to purchase one there.

Just go down to the BX/PX and see the AAFES car salesman. They have plenty of American cars for sale (just maybe not the one you want).

Otherwise, no, the Army is not going to pay to ship a car now. Besides, the new contractor SDDC hired will probably lose it anyway.
