Yes he would because if you shake the cocktail the ice would b broken up into smaller pieces, thus dissolving quicker and getting the drink colder quicker, also slightly weakening the drinks taste, as compared to the stirred version.

So, the drink would be warmer and taste slightly stronger if stirred, not shaken.

BUT as Hobbes points out the book , he drank a different drink, speciifcalyl he drank

"three measures of Gordon's Gin, one of vodka, and half a measure of Kina Lillet (vermouth). Shake very well until it's ice-cold, serve in a deep champagne goblet, and garnish with a large thin slice of lemon-peel "

    it was called the VESPER.

Probably I guess. They do taste quite a bit bit different between shaken and stirred plus he's James Bond!! I think he'd know lol :)

Yes, the shaken martini would have small bubbles and pieces of ice floating around in it and would look a little cloudy. A stirred one would look clear.

Absolutely, a true martini drinker would instantly taste the difference.

Bond would shotgun the drink, and ask for another

Yes. The difference is EXTREMELY conspicuous - unless you have the pallet of a rhinoceros.
