Would I be prescribed anything/ what would I be prescribed?

So I'm 16

And I get stressed out super easily like to the point I make myself physically ill and it's terrible. Like honestly I could just be watching a tv show and the character wi gent stuck in a sticky situation and I will get so stressed out to the point I feel like I'm going to throw up and die. I have anxiety and the new school year is about to start and I already am feeling stressed and nauseous. I want to get help because this has been happening my whole life and it's terrible and I'm sick of it. I'm going to the doctor on September 10th and I want to know if this seems appropriate to be prescribed something. What would I even be prescribed? I'm actually really interested in medicine so tell me as much as you can. Thank you. Oh and if you know what this is called tell me as well.

This is a good article on anti-anxiety medication.

Is this the first time you have been treated for this problem? Your anxiety sound quite severe. Was it always as intense as you are describing?

While this is a UK site it is very helpful, running between causes, self help and even the prescription options if required. (Usually SSRI's or betablockers are used to treat severe anxiety)

Maybe Paxil. or Lorrazpam. Or might give you counseling to help you figure out how to manage it yourself.
