Do you still see a Mayweather/Khan fight happening?
Good to be back on this forum after a long time.
Khan has become a smarter fighter..as we've seen in the past few fights...he's faster and taller and with Mayweather having no legit power to ko Khan....this is an intriguing fight.

Wazzap Ghazan good to see you back.I'v been saying it for about a year now-Mayweather will never fight Kahn i'd put money on it.Kahn is too much of a risk for floyd.1 because kahn dosn't fit the mold of all floyds usual come opponents and 2 because khan has excellent speed and great boxing skills.Yes mayweather fights world class opponents but only the ones with limited athletic ability and who's styles suite him just fine.In mayweathers eyes pacquiao was too big a risk and now kahn is too.Truth is whenever mayweather is a extremly talented fighter but would most likely have a loss or 2 up until now had he truly tested himself and fought the best throughout his career. at such a late stage i can't see it happening

Khan is one of those fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr was trying to avoid. Just think of the reason why Floyd was fighting Maidana although Amir Khan was chosen by the fans as Floyd's next opponent and now even giving Marcos a rematch. Maidana and ODLH said that key of beating Floyd is a good jab and Khan have that. Floyd have been hiding from fighters who can give him trouble that could derail his ambition of retiring undefeated.

I wouldn't give Khan much of a chance in that fight. You're not going to outbox a fighter as skilled and crafty as Mayweather. You need to be a able to pressure relentlessly in order to stand a chance. Also, Mayweather may not have the ability to stop Khan via one punch ko but he definitely has the ability to bust him up with well placed shots round after round.

A fight with Khan is too risky for Mayweather... I am not saying that Floyd would lose against Khan, but the risk vs reward it not worth it.
Khan is fast, skilful... And just won't lay down... Maidana needed a baseball bat to keep him down after stunning him... Garcia couldn't believe that he kept coming forward even when he was out on his feet...
Floyd's age is creeping up on him everyday... Khan is a banana skin waiting to happen..
(Floyd ignored the result of his sweepstakes poll between Madana & Khan... Mayweather is a business man, why you think he opted for Maidana??)

I don't think so. Khan has always presented a certain danger. At this point, it wouldn't be in Mayweather's best interest. He could win. However, why take the risk when he can make more money against a much less dangerous opponent?
.
That way of thinking is certainly not in the best interests of fans. However, that's where the business side of the sport sucks.

Good question and some good answers, Same time Khan needs to avoid Kell Brook ,,Brook has been looking for Khan for years and is dangerous, he could knock Khan out ,.May/Khan fight should happen first

Khan will make more money fighting Brook in the UK. I think whoever wins that fight will be in line to fight Mayweather.

It's as impossible as Pac vs. Fraud. Not unless is Khan agrees to take a dive for money.

He recently said that he hopes khan is available for next year and that they might fight in wembley. He also said that he will then remind him about the pac remarks after he wins
