Do libertarians supports free trade and open borders? Seems like they should.?

    They should according to their supposed philosophy. But they sure don't in real-life.

    Free trade, yes. Open borders? The United States is supposed to be a constitutional-moderate Republic, we should act like a sovereign nation and not let just anyone in.

    No, defending the borders is one of two legitimate functions of government in their eyes.

    Free trade, yes. Also NO free roads or any other infrastructure. It would all have to be privatized, if strict libertarians ever get control of anything.

    Ditto all other government services except a court system.

    I'm a libertarian on nearly every issue except on the issue of open borders.

    I understand the training behind it, I just disagree.

    Yes, but you can't have a bunch of mexicans come here and work for less than minimum wage.

    GET RID OF IT AND ALL OTHER ENTITLEMENTS ENSLAVING PRODUCERS TO INCOMPETENTS.

    Yes, but no agreements, just trade.
