PC beeps once on boot, restarts indefinitely.?
Although, i'm using this PC to post this question now. Once it actually loads the OS the PC won't shut off. If it'll shut off, the furthest it gets is to the screen to let me put my password. Every time i turn it on, it takes longer for me to actually be able to use my system. So it worries me, i might not be able to load the OS at all in the future. So i'ma just leave it in sleep mode whenever i'm done using it for the time being.
What could be the problem? I read 1 beep means everything's fine. Yet, obviously it isn't. The manual doesn't specify the beep codes (ftp://asrock.cn/manual/970%20Extreme4.pdf). I'm afraid it's something wrong with the mobo itself. Which annoys me because i had to reorder this same mobo because the first one was DOA. Here are the specification:
Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+
CPU: AMD FX-8320
RAM: 2 4GB G Skill
Graphics: XFX Radeon R9 270X

Your disk might be at the end of its life...
Get some hardware diagnosing tools (majorgeeks.com) and start with your disk. If you find anything, don't bother repairing. Take a backup immediately of what you don't want to lose. Note that errors may also come from bad or loose cabling.
Order a new disk if it's the problem, or return your current disk for warranty replacement.
If it's not your disk, check some other components... you'll find the culprit.

The problem is that your using Microsoft windows.
I suggest you delete your inferior operating system and install one of the many superior FREE Linux systems.
Linux does not need anti virus software because Linux does not get viruses.
Linux does not need a registry cleaner because nothing gets written to the registry when installing software.
Linux does not need a defragmenter because the Linux hard drive does not become fragmented.
Linux also does not need anti malware, anti spyware or firewalls or hard drive cleaners. Linux does not get that junk into its system.
Other than that Linux looks just about the same as Microsoft windows. Its really hard to see the difference. Except you dont have all that other garbage installed that is needed to keep microsoft running.
Unlike Microsoft that cost hundreds of dollars, Linux is free and available all over the internet.
Ignorance can be expensive.
