    If you are the victim, you have no power to drop the case. Domestic violence is a crime against the state. Only the DA decides if there is enough evidence to prosecute, you do not.

    You should not file a suit if you are going to drop the case just take your *** woopping and go on dont call the cops just let them kill you this is why it cant be stopped is because of you and those like you.

    i got a domestic like 10 years ago i did not deserve. she tried to change her mind but like the first answer the state picked it up and prosecuted me. i'm staying single forever now and i'm a good guy just totally scared of chicks now cuz i don't want to get charged again.

    once a criminal complaint goes to the DA's office, you are no longer in control of what happens. the DA will decide if a crime has been committed and proceed as such

    You cannot do anything from the moment there was a DV report and going to Court.
