Why is his computer shutting down? My husband has a MacBook Pro he purchased in 2009 this afternoon it just Stsrted randomly shutting down?
If the mouse is in motion it will stay on otherwise it shuts down- any idea what this could be?
I realize this is in the wrong section but for some reason ya won't let me move it:(

I had that problem myself and had to take to a computer expert as I had viruses on it I couldn't remove myself.

When not in use after a certain amount of time it will shut off . However if he is in the process of using it and it just shuts off then it's an internal issue with computer and needs to be either refreshed or looked at by someone that knows those issues .

hello
it is natural....when you do not work with computer for a time , it goes to standby mode......now you shake mouse it will become ON ....
